Tesla has announced plans to expand its Supercharger network to 25,000 chargers worldwide by the end of 2021. The company has also said that it will open its Supercharger network to other EV brands later this year.
Volkswagen Group has announced that it plans to install 18,000 public charging points in Europe by 2025. The charging points will be located at Volkswagen dealerships and at other public locations.
General Motors has partnered with EVgo to install 2,700 new fast chargers across the United States by the end of 2025. The charging stations will be located in cities and suburbs, as
well as along highways.
Electrify America, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, has announced that it plans to install 800 new charging stations across the United States by the end of 2021. The charging stations will be located at retail locations, office parks, and multi-unit dwellings.
ChargePoint, one of the largest EV charging networks in the world, recently went public through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). The company plans to use the proceeds from the merger to expand its charging network and to develop new charging technologies.
